We are excited to announce that the Central Kansas Conservancy will celebrate National Trails Day & Earth Day by featuring an exciting lineup of events on the Meadowlark Trail!
Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 22, 2023, starting at 9 a.m.
There will be several activities with staggered start times on the Meadowlark Trail that day on both the McPherson and Lindsborg ends of the trail to give attendees a chance to experience this wonderful community amenity for themselves!
Examples of activities include informal walks, fun runs, bike rides, and activities for children, including making nature crafts! Also, there will be talks about the history of the trail and trail etiquette, opportunities to volunteer, and the Adopt-A-Mile program.
Hamburgers and hot dogs will be served at the McPherson Trail Head from 11:30 to 12:30 and at the Lindsborg Trail Head from 1:00 to 2:00.
Door prizes, including two $500 gift cards to a bike shop, will be offered for those who register on the day of the event! If that isn’t enough, free t-shirts will be handed out while supplies last!!
